Welcome

SANTA SPECIAL UPDATE SUNDAY 10th DECEMBER

Due to the heavy snow fall and in the interests of everyone’s safety we have had to make the decision to postpone today’s Santa Special. We intend to re schedule the event for next Saturday 16th December. Other options may be available should you be unable to attend on Saturday 16th. One of our volunteers will call everyone who has booked tickets today. This will possibly be from a withheld number. Please be patient and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Chasewater Railway

Free Car Park for the use of our railway visitors/guests only–  click here for details/times Car Park is locked with no access outside of these hours.

Chasewater Railway operates heritage steam and diesel trains on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays March to November, most Saturdays from Easter to October and certain weekdays throughout the summer. Our volunteers give up their valuable spare time to restore, maintain and develop the railway and associated infrastructure to help tell the story of the local area and it’s industrial heritage. All of the money you choose to spend here is reinvested to support this work.

The Railway operates passenger trains from  Brownhills West and Chasewater Heaths stations to Chasetown Church Street, with an intermediate halt at Norton Lakeside . A round trip of nearly 4 miles. Take a look at our special events page on the left for details of our 2017 program.
