60TH Anniversary Weekend 25th/26th May 2019

Celebrating 60 years since the Railway Preservation Society (West Midlands District) got together in 1959 to plan a project to form what eventually was to became the Chasewater Railway. You can read more of our history by clicking here Bring the family and come along and celebrate with us .

Monday’s witches and wizards event will be the standard timetable with either 2842 or 2648.

Late Summer Gala

Our next event is the late summer gala. Families and enthusiasts alike will enjoy this event which features all available home fleet locomotives operating and visiting guest Willy the well tank, intensive passenger service, brake van rides, freight and coal train demonstrations, accredited museum, model railway(s) , Model & Gift shops, Tea Room and more. Updates will appear here as soon as available.

Ticket prices Adults £8.50, Concessions £7.50 Child (3-15yrs) £4.50, Family of 4(2 adults max) £23.50 . Members (on production of valid card) £3.50 each, Children 0-2 yrs free. (No passes, discount vouchers etc. valid for gala)


Mabel’s Vintage Fair July 29th 11am-4pm

Mabel’s vintage fairs return with their popular vintage fairs with a heavy influence on 1940’s this year but all years are still catered for. An update with more info will appear here asap.

Our Chasewater Railway Made in Staffordshire gala May 26th/27th/28th. 10am-5pm each day.
Details of our loco’s appearing during the gala.over the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend “Made in Staffordshire
Steam loco guest is Kerr Stuart & Co. 0-4-0 “Willy” the Well-tank visiting us in its centennial year having been built in Staffordshire in 1918 and Diesel guest is last but one built Bagnall 0-4-0DH built Stafford 1961, number 3207 “Leys”. Thanks to the respective owners for allowing them to visit us.
Home fleet locos representing Staffordshire are Bagnall “Dunlop No.6” and Bagnall “Kent No.2” plus Diesel E E Baguley “Bass no.5” with Bagnall “Myfanwy” availble to view nearing the completion of her restoration.
Museum, Heritage Centre, Tea Room, Model Railway, Gift shops, Bric-A-Brac and more.
Rover Ticket prices for this event are £8.95 Adult, £7.95 Concession, £4.50 Child 3-15yrs and Non working members with valid card, 0-2yrs free. A fantastic value family ticket is £24.95 for 2 adults and up to 2 children. No passes or vouchers valid during the gala and for everyone’s safety strictly no track/shed/signal box access without permission.
