After much planning we are pleased to announce that the visiting loco for the September gala will be the beautiful Beyer-Peacock saddle tank no.1827 built in 1879 visiting us from it’s usual home at the Foxfield Railway . This will be the first visit to Chasewater by this loco and the first time for over half a century that a Beyer-Peacock has worked on the Cannock chase colliery system. We are looking forward to our Victorian visitors arrival. Long term guest WG Bagnall 0-4-0st Kent No.2, RSH 0-6-0t Nechells No.4 and Barclay 0-4-0st Colin McAndrew form the rest of the line up.
