News : Family fun at Chasewater Railway.

With something for all the family you can have a great day out here at Chasewater Railway.


As well as our heritage Steam and diesel trains featuring a round trip of nearly 4 miles we have regular special events, an Arts Council England accredited museum (Free admission), get up close to the locos and stock in our heritage centre where you may see restoration projects in progress, Model railways, Gift & Model shops, Bric-a-Brac, a traditional style tea room with on a real fire on colder days serving everything from tempting home made cakes, fresh and speciality coffees, teas and hot chocolate, cold drinks, light and not so light snacks, hot and cold fresh sandwiches, breakfast options, cakes, confectionery and Ice Creams, Fresh Milkshakes or for that extra special treat why not try our delicious afternoon teas, go on surprise that special someone or celebrate your special event with us incling birthday parties (please book in advance for these Groups, meetings, corporate events can be catered for by appointment in our unique surroundings.

Tickets are valid for all trains on the day of purchase (click here for prices) so you can hop on and off to enjoy everything the park has to offer including walks,play area, site of special scientific interest, look for the deer,birds and wildlife and relax by the water’s edge or after visiting us the historic City of Lichfield is a short drive away with its famous triple spired cathedral, shopping, museums and park or the natural beauty of Cannock chase including visitor centre, museum of Cannock Chase and more on our doorstep. Dogs on lead welcome here Station, Train and Tea Room in designated area.
