News : News update March 12th 2014

DSCF0986 NG Blue ManridderOn Sunday 16th March our Narrow gauge line (2 ft) will be operating from 11 am (subject to weather conditions as the carriage is open sided) it’s an ideal opportunity to come and see our small miners style railway then take a walk around the museum, shops and tea room.

The track work is progressing towards re opening the main line but additional work on some of the Brownhills West station points and track is required and so it is unlikely we will be able to run until late March. Further updates will be posted as soon as they become available. This is a major project for the dedicated permanent way volunteers who have been out in all weathers undertaking the works.

Thanks for your support and we look forward to welcoming to Chasewater Railway soon.
