News : Together again after over 40 years apart

1508168_621966371224447_906200682_n

The railway is delighted to announce the arrival of another ex brewery locomotive in the for of Bass No.11 built by Baguley in Staffordshire.

The locomotive joins Bass No.5 also a Baguley at Chasewater Railway, we believe it is the first time the locomotives have been together in over 40 years. Also it is the third Baguley ex brewery locomotive residing here as a former Marston Thompson & Evershed locomotive is on long term loan to us. The railway is proud to be home to an extended collection of ex Brewery locomotives and rolling stock which will be displayed during our upcoming, new for 2014 Brewery Day event on July 20th. More details will appear here shortly.
