Permanent Way Dept

The Permanent Way Department are responsible for the maintainence, renewal and installation of the track, which includes plain line and Switches and Crossings (S&C) for the Railway.

The latest projects for the PWayDept include the double tracking outside Brownhills West station yard, the recently opened Chasetown Extension Railway and the renewal of track between Norton Lakeside and Chasewater Heaths.
